I have joined a company that uses Sage MMS.

I would like to set up a means to import journals to MMS from excel.

Any advice as to where to start

If you haven't got this sorted out yet, then a couple of pointers:

* MMS supports both csv and xml format imports - simplest is csv

* the import process checks that the journals balance, but it doesn't check that the journals balance within a month .. so it's possible to have a temporary out of balance tb

* the formats are defined in the help file .. but you the information isn't always completely accurate. Can't recall whether this is true for the nominal import though I'm afraid

* the column names are case sensitive for some imports

* you should find example csv files either in a subfolder on your Sage share or on the Sage install disk
